Between 8 – 12 February 2021, the Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board’s Improving Practice Committee is hosting a week of webinars to promote safeguarding adults best practice. In 2019, the Committee hosted a successful in-person event, this year the short webinars will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and are aimed at professionals and volunteers.
The sessions cover a wide range of topics linked to safeguarding adults and the Committee aim to include issues which reflect the six key principles of safeguarding adults: Protection; Prevention; Empowerment; Partnership; Accountability; and Proportionality.
People can book on more than one webinar throughout the week using the links below. You will be sent details of how to access the webinar the week before. We are encouraging people who are booking onto a webinar to submit questions in advance. This will help webinar hosts to prepare.
