2019-20 Annual Reports Published
The Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board and Newcastle Safeguarding Children Partnership have published their annual reports for 2019-20.
Both Annual Reports cover the period from April 2019 to the end of March 2020 and highlight some of the key achievements of both partnerships and their responses to new and emerging issues and future challenges ahead. Given the timeframe they touch on the impact of Covid-19 on safeguarding.
The reports have been presented at Health Scrutiny Committee (8 October 2020) and the City Future’s Board (17 November 2020) where they were both well received. Thanks were given to the hard work of all staff and volunteers working to keep adults and children safe in Newcastle.
