Multi-agency safeguarding training continues to be available

The large majority of core training courses provided by the Newcastle Safeguarding Adults Board and Newcastle Safeguarding Children Partnership are now available online and/or remotely.  This includes a range of different levels from basic awareness courses through to more specialist training. We also have a comprehensive e-learning offer through our e-learning provider Virtual College.

Most training that was delivered face-to-face is now being delivered via Microsoft Teams. You do not need any special devices or licences to be able to access the training, just a device connected to the internet whether that be a mobile phone, a tablet, laptop or desktop computer. You will be provided with instructions that will help you to access to the training when you book.

We know that accessing training virtually is a big change from sitting in a classroom but the feedback we have received so far has been positive. Accessing training online means people don’t have to worry about getting to a venue or finding a parking space. We will continue to make changes to our training programmes as we learn more about what works well.

You can find out more and access courses by visiting our training webpages: https://www.newcastlesafeguarding.org.uk/our-training/children-and-adults-safeguarding-courses/
