Target Audience:
This is a bespoke course for anyone who has a Trustees role within a voluntary or community sector organisation and will need to know how to ensure their safeguarding policies and procedures are robust. Please note, dates are not routinely offered for this course as we work with individual organisations to agree how to best meet their needs.
Aims:
- To provide an up-to-date overview of Safeguarding children and adults, which will better inform your role and responsibilities as trustees/management committee members.
- To gain knowledge of existing law, policy and procedures in relation to Safeguarding to help ensure your organisation is compliant and current.
- To consolidate and deepen your existing knowledge so that you feel more confident and satisfied with regards to your accountabilities.
- To provide practical advice and guidance to support your organisations with Safeguarding.
